Cindy Sheehan Is Coo-Coo!

Yesterday was the four year anniversary of the start of the War in Iraq. I support the war--maybe not how we got there--but we are there, and we can do nothing other than win--so suck it up folks!! Cindy Sheehan lost her son in the early stages of the war, and what does she do--she lashes out at how this war is corrupt, and brought on with lies, and illegal. So hmmmmmm, lets see! I guess that means that I find her son far more heroic than she does. He was doing a great thing--he was involved in a wonderful undertaking that brought freedom to millions upon millions of people. Isn't it everyone's goal--to leave the world a little better than it was when we got here? He did that, for millions of Iraqi people, for Iraqi women, for Iraqi children. He was an honorable young man working to help people--and he died a hero. She'll claim his hero status alright--but then slam the very efforts that he died working for. Sounds like "Mom of the Year" to me!!! NOT!

I don't think she's arguing about the fact that we are doing a 'good' think over there.

More to the point that, we as Americans were lied to by our own leadership just to play on the emotions of 9/11 to invade a country. We've lost so many great people in this war and we're not even anywhere close to the end. We're still right in the middle of the war, after 4 years.

A democracy isn't really working in Iraq. It's my opinion that you can't force a type of government onto a country's citizens. What Iraq really needs is a Civil War of sorts, so they can find out who they are, what they want and how they want to run their own nation.

Us telling them to have a democracy after so many years of a dictatorship isn't going to solve things very quickly if at all.

We as American's had no part in choosing whether or not we entered this war. That was handled by our elected officials. They are screaming that they were "duped", well, I hope the people who elected them have realized how easily duped they were, and elect someone less "gullible"! The only time we FORCED democracy on the Iraqi people--was when we forced them to "VOTE" on how they wanted their country run. Had they chosen a different form of government--democracy would have ended that day!

She is the mother who lost a child. If standing in the Texas summer heat to try to talk to the President helps her get by, then she should do it.

I will not discuss the war.

I'd be a bit nuts if my son were killed in the war.

So, you're saying if Iraq chose to follow communism we would have allowed them to follow that path?

I think not, the intention was to get rid of S.H. and instill a democracy to gain support for our own nation.

If enough people would have contacted their congressmen before the war started we would not have gone in. The elected officials can not ignore their people.

Too many people are angry and upset (which caused a lot of problems for Muslims in our country) and they were all up in arms for going to war and paying back those who forced a sword in our nations heart.
